Standard Home Energy Audit
Includes:
- An on site visual evaluation of your homes structure, insulation, heating
system, domestic hot water system, windows, doors, appliances, lighting,
and other related items
- A Blower Door test to help identify hidden heat loss areas
- An Infrared scan of your homes exterior walls and ceilings to find hidden
areas where insulation is missing or improperly installed
- An optional Standard Report report is available including pictures taken
of your home itemizing opportunities to save energy, and increase
comfort specific to your home and situation.
Home Energy Audit Computer Analysis
- Includes all Standard Audit features PLUS a full comprehensive report
detailing what all recommendations could cost and actually save on fuel
usage. This information is useful when deciding which improvements
will pay for themselves with energy savings in the shortest time and
which may never pay for themselves in energy savings.
Infrared Scan
Includes:
- An on site evaluation using a FLIR hand held infrared camera
- All heat loss areas will be viewed including: exterior walls, ceilings,
floors,doors, windows, heating and cooling system including ducts and
pipes, electrical panel, basement, and attic
- A Blower Door test to help identify air leaks and bypasses
- An optional report is available including both infrared and standard
digital camera views of problem areas with suggestions for improvement
Blower Door Test
Includes:
- An on site visual evaluation of your homes structure
- A Blower Door test using a calibrated fan system designed to identify air
leaks and determine the proper amount of natural ventilation needed for
your home
- Identification of hidden areas leaking air in and out of the home
- An optional report is available with pictures and suggestions for
improvement
Air-Sealing Weatherization
Measures can include:
- Interior caulking of doors and windows
- Weatherstripping doors and windows
- Sealing plumbing and electrical penetrations in the basement, home
interior, and attic
- Sealing unintentional openings in basement, home interior, and attic
Electric Usage Evaluation
Includes:
- An on site inventory of your homes electrical appliances and lighting
- An on site evaluation of usage and electric bill
- Recommendations for reducing electric usage
